Health and Social Care

Webaspx help NHS Trusts and Authorities, Local Authorities and independent providers, to deliver their health and social care services more efficiently: this means offering a better front-line service to patients without increasing costs.

Improved service delivery is achieved through rigorous application of our advanced modelling, scenario planning and decision support techniques. Our solutions are delivered through consultancy (e.g. Modelling) or software (e.g. Performance Reporting) or a combination of both.

Some examples of where we help health and social care providers to think through new ways of improving patient service delivery include:

Tactical and Strategic Planning: we are able to model new ways of delivering existing services and at the same time look at the impact of changing demand patterns on resource requirements. For example, we are working with a number of local authorities to identify improved commissioning strategies and operating policies for domiciliary care.

Operational Support: As well as supporting planning, we are able to improve the performance of existing services by providing consultancy or software or a tailored mixture of both. We use modelling to analyse and optimise resource or to maximise service delivery for a given resource level. We offer software systems to provide better monitoring of performance and better plan the use of healthcare workers and other resources.

Bid Support: For independent providers, we offer in depth resource modelling to determine the right mix of resources and the best way to deploy them over the life of a contract. Modelling allows a competitive bid to be prepared whilst minimising financial risk. Moreover, we provide in depth information on how resources will be deployed on the contract; this improves bid quality and supports implementation when bids are successful.

Webaspx is currently offering next generation planning, modelling and software services for domiciliary care in conjunction with Aimes , the Liverpool University led advanced computing group.
